favourite things

i saw easy virtue at the theatre this past weekend. it was quite enjoyable really. i have to admit it though, i only went to see colin firth.
i guess he can come under the category of 'favourite things', no?
he is so dreamy.

a couple of weeks ago, the course had us thinking about and photographing some of our favourite things. in the above photos are some of my real treasures.
little pieces which on their own hold no value but the memories attached to them make them priceless to me.
a favoured dress that makes you happy just slipping it on, treasured gifts from dear friends that show how much they care, time spent with favourite people...
this is what really makes life.
