a good book

it's rather strange to think that it is almost the end of the first month in 2009 and i am still making my list for the year. not a list of resolutions as such, more like a small, achievable, worthwhile to-do list. some small things to make my life a little more like the life i want it to be.
the past few weeks i have been building up my collection of reads for the year, including the gentle art of domesticity (a real visual feast that i keep on my side table), jane packer's flower course (which is so so beautiful), and jamie at home (so good. so jamie.)
and i am looking forward to these two in the coming months. It's going to be a great year for reading. Are you excited about any books this year?
